  • Setup and worked with numerous server systems including Apache Web Server, Microsoft Internet Information Services, Microsoft Exchange, Unison and Zimbra web and email servers. BIND DNS server. Proxy/Content Filtering systems such as OpenDNS, Squid and DansGuardian. Steaming systems including SHOUTcast and Broadwave for live or pre-recorded audio streaming.
  • Good knowledge of free linux firewall appliances, such as m0n0wall and pfSense
  • Able to setup and maintain web, dns, email servers for domains.
  • GazLee.co.uk is running on a self built server, booting CentOS Linux and configured with Apache, MySQL, BIND, ProFTPd and SHOUTcast.
  • A second self built server (running Ubuntu Server) runs a free, open source, feature rich, multi-domain, Microsoft Exchange alternative, which drives all the communication requirements of GazLee.co.uk, including IMAP/POP/SMTP email, Jabber based chat, CalDAV calendaring, and WebDAV shared web based storage.
  • Can provide setup and management of Intranet systems, Websites Forums, Wikis, chat spaces and more.
  • Able to make the best of limited resources, by using free or open-source software solutions.
  • Sound and Lighting technician, worked on numerous events, shows and discos at The King’s School.
  • Operated sound, lighting and vision mixing equipment for NEW College, operated audio/visual systems for Comic Relief, Children in Need events at college.

  • Operated vision mixing equipment for a special Live show, where cameras and graphics were mixed live to a projector.
