New Service – URL Shortener

by Gary Lee on April 17, 2009

Hi, there’s a new service available to use starting from today, it’s a completely free URL Shortener / Disguiser, you can use it to make URLs shorter to be sent in emails and instant messaging conversations. The good thing, compared to similar services is that the re-directs are stored permanently, which means a short URL will never expire!

Give it a try today! (Click)

Oh wow, I didn’t actually realize that others had a time limit. Does TinyURL do that as well?

Yeah, quite a few have a clear-out every month or so, the setting is at the discretion of the site owner, I don’t know about specific sites, so I’m not sure that TinyURL does it, but heh, its a good selling point! :)

Hell yeah it is, I had no idea that they did that. Makes sense really though, anyway keep cooking up new stuff.

You going to be colouring in shortener?

Yeah, I’ll probably add some colour if i get a moment, haha, nothing matches on my site, apart from the forum which is currently offline haha
